Questo weekend/This weekend

Questo fine settimana andrò al Lucca Comics and Games!
Questa manifestazione è legata hai fumetti ed io vi parteciperò per realizzare un bel reportage fotografico.
Non sono mai stata a Lucca e dei miei amici che abitano a Pisa mi hanno detto che per l'occasione la città si trasforma: ci saranno mostre, incontri con gli autori e vari stand, sono proprio curiosa.
Al mio ritorno realizzerò un bel post su questa mia esperienza......
Spero ci sia qualcosa legato ai miei personaggi dei fumetti preferiti, fin da quand'ero piccola I Puffi!

This weekend I'll go to Lucca Comics and Games!
This event is related with comics and I will be there to make a nice photo reportage.
I've never been in Lucca, people say that for such events, the city change there will be exhibitions, meetings with authors i'm very courious to see everything......
On my return I will make a nice post about my experience ......
I hope there is something related to my favorite characters in comics, ever since I was little The Smurfs!

Viva la Francia/ Viva la France

Qualche giorno fa ho conosciuto Benedicte e Sarah, due ragazze francesi in Erasmus a Padova.
Benedicte viene da Bordeaux e parla bene l'italiano perchè sua nonna è di origine italiana invece Sara è nata a Lille ma i suoi genitori sono Polacchi.
Parlando un pò con loro in inglese perchè il francese lo capisco ma non lo parlo, mi sono offerta di aiutarle ad ambientarsi in città durante in nove mesi dell'Erasmus.
Le ho accompagnate all'ufficio dell'ESN di Padova e anche al centro linguistico di ateneo, dove ho scoperto che i corsi di italiano per stranieri sono suddivisi per livelli e ciascun livello prende il nome da un Fumettista o personaggio dei Fumetti!
Sono molto contenta di aiutarle perchè questo mi permette di scambiare esperienze e conoscenze relative a quello che stiamo studiando e sapere degli aspetti relativi alla vita quotidiana della Francia e della Polonia che si possono sapere solamente se si vive lì. Ad esempio una buonissima ricetta per i Croissant che però non credo di riuscire a replicare......
A few days ago I met Benedict and Sarah, two French girls in Erasmus in Padova.
Benedicte is from Bordeaux and speak good Italian, because her grandmother have Italian origin, Sarah was born in Lille, but her parents came from Poland.
Talk a bit with them in English because I understand French but not speak it, I offered me to help them settle in the city during nine months of Erasmus.
I accompanied the office of the ESN of Padua and also to the University Language Center, where I discovered that the courses of Italian for foreigners are divided into grades and each stage takes its name from a comic book or cartoon character!
I am very glad to help because this allows me to share experience and knowledge of what we are studying and knowledge of issues relating to everyday life in France and Poland that can be known only if you live there. For example, a very good recipe for croissants but I do not think being able to respond ......

Le sedie del Vitra/ Vitra's Chairs

Qualche giorno fa, a Padova si è svolta un a mostra sulle sedie realizzate dai più famosi architetti e desinger mondiali ed esposte al Vitra Museum di Weil am Rheim in Germania.
I modelli esposti erano più di un centinaio, alcuni mi sono piaciuti moltissimo perchè veramente originali; nei prossimi post pubblicherò e le foto e vi svelerò una piccola curiosità legata a questa mostra.....


A few days ago, was held in Padua in an exhibition about chairs made from the most famous architects and desinger of the world and exposed to the Vitra Museum in Weil am Rheim in Germany.
The models on display were more than a hundred, some I liked very much because it truly original, you'll see in coming posts the photos and I will unreveil to you a small curiosity attached to this show .....

La Berta filava/ Berta spun

A Montegrotto Terme c'è un'antica Villa meglio conosciuta come il Castello di Berta.
La leggenda narra che questa fosse l'abitazione della giovane tessitrice di San Pietro Montagnon, ecco la sua storia:

Berta passava in un sentierello fra le foglioline di un trifoglio e le canne di granturco ormai spoglie. Lei che aveva visto venti inverni stava pensando come crudo si annunciasse questo. Ma con i sui vent'anni si immergeva già nel mare della speranza grande come un oceano, per vivere una primavera futura.
Quanto non aveva filato l'inverno scorso! tutto il filo che si portava con se era il frutto del suo lavoro.
Che cosa ne fai? chiedevano le sue compagne Vuoi farti una dote più fastosa di tutte noi? Berta non rispondeva a queste provocazioni perchè sapeva che le cose non dette sono le migliori.
Un giorno venne il momento di consegnare tutto il filo realizzato in un anno, così chiese alla sua ''santola'' la donna che l'aveva tenuta a battesimo di accompagnarla in città.
La vecchia, durante il tragitto verso Padova, chiese a Berta perchè portasse con sè tutto quel filo coperto da magnifici cespi di verze, ma la giovane non si lasciò scappare neanche una parola.
Arrivate alle porte della città, Berta chiese di vedere la cuoca dell'Imperatore; quest'ultima infatti aveva più di ogni altro la possibilità di avvicinare l'imperatrice.
L'imperatrice Berta; moglie di Enrico IV di Germania fu infatti molto contenta di ricevere una rappresentate del suo popolo che in più portava il suo stesso nome.
La giovane filatrice, sapendo quanto le piacesse filare, si era prefissata di donarle tutto il suo filo pensando di farle cosa gradita poichè le avrebbe ricordato la sua terra lontana.
L'imperatrice colpita dal questo gesto volle intestare alla giovane tanta terra quanto era il filo che ella aveva filato, ma poichè il possesso richede un titolo la fece diventare Contessa di San Pietro Montagnon.
Da quel giorno Montegrotto ebbe la sua contessa e tutte le giovani sanpietrine persuase di ricevere lo stesso titolo si recavano dall'imperatrice con dei doni.
Quest'ultima però si era resa conto che solo Berta nel suo gesto era stata mossa da un vero sentimento altruistico così a tutte rispondeva:mi dispiace ma non è più tempo che la Berta filava.

A Montegrotto there is a house best known as the Berta's Castle.
Legend tells that this was the home of the young weaver of St. Peter Montagnon here is her story:

Bertha had seen twenty winters and she was thinking how raw announcing this. But with over two decades already plunged into the sea of hope as big as an ocean, to live a spring to come.
Than had spun a lot last winter! all the wire that she brought with her was the fruit of her labor.
What do you do? asked her friends with all of this wire; Berta did not respond to these provocations because he knew that things are better left unsaid.
A day was time to hand over the wire realizate to year, so she asked her''godmother''the woman who had held a christening to go with her to town.
The old woman, during the journey to Padua, asked Berta the meaning of all that wire covered with magnificent heads of cabbage, but the girl does not miss a word.
Arrive at the city gates, Berta asked to see the cook of the Emperor, the latter had in fact more than anyone else the opportunity to bring her to the Empress.
Empress Bertha, wife of Henry IV of Germany was indeed very happy to receive a representative of her people who have her same name.
The young spinner, knowing how much she liked to spin, she had set out to give at Empress the full line of thinking would please her would remember her far-off land.
Empress struck by this gesture to the girl so she wanted to donate as much land as the thread that she had spun, but the possession reclaim a title so she become the Countess of St. Peter Montagnon.
From that day Montegrotto had his countess and all the young girl was persuaded to receive the same title by Empress giving her some gifts.
However, she realized that only Berta in her gesture was motivated by a genuine altruistic feeling so at all replied: I'm sorry but this is no more the time when Berta spun.
